Les Maisons de Vincent

Adapted living and care facilities for autistic adults based on agro-ecology.

Ambition of the founder

“Les Maisons de Vincent” (Vincent’s homes) was founded in 2019 by Helen Medigue, a french actress whose autistic brother Vincent never had a chance to find and live in a house meeting his specific needs.

This non profit organization aims at crearting adapted living and care facilities for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders, linked to agro-ecological farming.

The first house has opened in 2021 in Mers-les-Bains (a small coastal resort in northern France). The full renovation has been supported by Jean-Noel Thorel Foundation. The home also includes an organic grocery store and tea house, providing activities and social accomplishment to the autistic residents. A second house was created in the South of France in Goult.

After two years in operation, an impact study demonstrated the benefits on the residents, their families and the territory.

In 2025, Helene brings the cause of autism to another level, by producing a movie called “Une place pour Pierrot”, with a grant from our endowment fund.

This fictional story shows – with tenderness –  how life with autism can be challenging, and highlights new solutions to take greater care of people and our planet, while developing our human potential.
